AdvancedDimensions.com Hits the Road in 2015

Our CEO, Adam, realized very early on as a Leica Geosystems dealer that the laser measuring tools that we sell are especially applicable to professional woodworkers who need fast, easy, and accurate measurements. At AdvancedDimensions.com, we like to visit different woodworking trade shows around the nation in order to put these tools in the hands of some of the top woodworking professionals around. We've been to many shows over the last few years, and we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be attending a few more in 2015!

Trade shows provide awesome opportunities for everybody involved. For attendees, the opportunity to learn about new trade practices and products is extremely valuable. For exhibitors, the chance to meet face to face with your target market, make new friends, and hear new opinions and stories is invaluable. Perhaps the greatest part of any trade show is the opportunity to network with other industry professionals across the region, striking up conversation about anything from running business to the best wood finish products.

We love the atmosphere of trade shows. It seems like everybody in the building is avidly seeking information about how to improve their quality of work. This is a perfect environment for us to hang out for a few days and let woodworkers know that they could be capturing measurements and projecting perfectly leveled lines more easily and efficiently than they do by using tape measures and traditional levels. These people are genuinely interested in what we’re providing, and it’s a great experience for us to make new friends along the way!

We already had the chance to exhibit at The Woodworking Shows in Somerset, NJ show last month. We were really excited about this show because of its location in the Northeast, and the excitement that these shows are bringing around the nation (this is a traveling show with over a dozen events each year in various locations around the country). We met a lot of excellent woodworkers who were intrigued by the Leica products that we were selling. We ended up shipping a large portion of our inventory when we returned to the office on Monday because of the orders that were placed that weekend. We’re happy to provide this amazing industry with these amazing tools!

Next up on our trade show list is the Cabinets & Closets Expo in Chicago this April, and then the Association of Woodworking and Furnishing Suppliers Fair (AWFS) in Las Vegas this July. We’re excited about the potential of meeting influential woodworking contacts for these national gatherings.

Will you be at these shows? Are there any others that you’re attending this year? We’ve got a few more on our radar that we’re not ready to announce yet, but we’ll be announcing them as we make commitments!
